We are now pausing subscriptions to the community as we are looking for another platform to host the community. So far we have used Slack, which is a great tool and many of you professionals already use at work. This makes it really easy to join us here and this was one of the main reasons we chose it in first place. Why are we looking then for another solution? Well, unfortunately the free version of Slack allows only for a history going back to 3 months only which is not really great for an online community. We would be happy to pay for it but even the discount for non-profits is prohibitive to us.
So what next? There is Rocket.Chat, an interesting open source software which is a great alternative to Slack but it requires more technical knowledge to set up and a special hosting. Another alternative is a classical forum integrated on the website. Whichever of these will be we will come back to you with the news!
