About the program
BIM-Enabled Sustainable Buildings is a Master program taught that combines BIM (Building Information modelling) and Sustainable Design Engineering (with a focus on engineering and technical issues concerning all aspects of building science, technology, energy performance). This course offers multi-disciplinary modules which provides the opportunity for those with different backgrounds and interest in becoming BIM specialists – ranging from specialists in sustainable buildings’ design, high performance buildings’ design, and advanced building simulation techniques to gain a postgraduate qualification. This course is uniquely focusing on passive design, efficient building services systems design, advanced building simulation techniques and occupants’ health and comfort, combined with the theories and practice of BIM in design and construction.
Full-time studies take 12 months to complete, a part-time 24 month option is also offered. Program consists of 120 CAT (equivalent to 60 ECTS) over the course of 3 semesters and is taught completely in english. Upon completion, the students is awarded an MSc degree.
