Hetreed Ross Architects are a long-established practice located in an award-winning converted Brewery on the outskirts of Bath. We are a friendly and approachable team of talented designers specializing in bespoke, smaller-scale projects with sustainability at the heart of all we do.

We work on a wide range of building types, including listed buildings, throughout the southwest, with the majority of our work in the residential and community sectors.

We apply our expertise in sustainable design to create delightful and durable buildings that work well both for our clients and for the world around them.

We design these projects to be energy efficient and environmentally considerate. By understanding and employing the science behind constructing comfortable and sustainable buildings we help our clients choose between the many options open to them within their own sustainability budget.

We are seeking a full-time Architect or Technologist with at least 2 years of UK experience to work with our team of 6 on a variety of projects at all RIBA work stages.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong design and communication skills and the technical ability to confidently tackle Stage 4 working drawings for Building Regulations and tender.

You will have strong CAD skills, we use Vectorworks, SketchUp, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with current Building Regulations is essential and an interest in Passivhaus would be desirable.

We offer a competitive salary, pension, further career support and a flexible work/life balance in a light open plan office space.
