Sustainable Studio Architects (SSA) is a young, vibrant, creative, sustainable architecture practice based in South Wales. We offer complete architectural services to both the domestic and commercial markets. With over 15 years of commercial experience in AJ 100 practices, the directors want to engage with clients that share the same passion for cutting-edge design with an environmental conscience.

We are looking for dynamic and talented Architect to join us in our Newport studio.

We want to provide you with opportunities to establish yourself in an RIBA chartered practice and develop your design, delivery and project management skills. The work is varied and engaging, we are committed to developing our staff and studio with the ever-changing portfolio of work.

The successful candidate will have an outstanding portfolio/ CV and can demonstrate their skills and strengths. We ensure the correct opportunities are available compliment your ongoing professional development, building on you existing experiences and networks- to push project boundaries and ensure the workload is appropriate and engaging.

Role & Responsibilities

• Work with other Architects and Assistants on a range of projects
• Report as required on project process
• Work effectively through all RIBA stages
• Prepare feasibility studies, concept design, planning applications, detailed technical drawings, reports etc.
