The University of Luxembourg invites applications for a funded doctoral candidate (PhD student) position in the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE). The successful candidate will play an active role in the implementation of the PROPEL project – PROactive Policymaking for Equal Lives led under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Flynn as Principal Investigator. The PROPEL project studies the politics of housing policy and is situated at the intersection of inequality studies, studies of the welfare state, and political economy. The project is hosted within the Institute of Political Science and part of the interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences. It has formal collaborations with the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research and the LIS Cross-National Data Center, with direct on-site access to LIS microdata.
