About the program

The Master in Architectural Engineering: Environmental Design brings together architectural design and engineering so to create spaces that are practical and sustainable as well as beautiful. Students will learn how to design buildings with low-carbon footprints and a focus on comfortable and healthy living. Reducing the environmental impact of construction is one of the most important challenges industry faces. This course helps students to advance their design and technical skills to work as a trained professional creating a more sustainable future for our infrastructure. Students will apply engineering principles of how people use buildings to come up with building design solutions.

This course’s main focus is the engineering approach to architecture and sustainable built environment. Duration of the course is 12 months and students is awarded a MSC degree upon completion.

This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM). To hold accredited qualifications for CEng registration, candidates must also hold a Bachelor (Hons) degree that has been accredited as partially meeting the acdemic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineering (CEng).
