About the program

The interdisciplinary Master in Building Sustainability – Management Methods for Energy Efficiency is designed for students interested in real estate project planning and management, with a specific focus on sustainability.

The program focuses on the energy-efficient management of buildings and neighborhoods. Students learn about building automation, energy efficiency, energy generation, real estate management, and intelligent buildings. The program addresses the German “Energiewende” and its goal of making the country fossil fuel and nuclear energy-free. Students also develop expertise in project and life-cycle management and gain a global perspective on different approaches to energy efficiency.

Students complete 90 ECTS at the end of the 3 semesters and benefit from the expertise of professionals and fellow students, fostering international and interdisciplinary teamwork.
