Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg (Technische Hochschule Augsburg) is with it’s over 7000 students one of the student higher education institutions in Bavaria. They offer a range of educational courses in technical fields, both in German and English.

About the program

Energieeffizientes Planen und Bauen bachelor’s program discovers the complex topics of sustainability and resource consumption in construction in a competent and future-proof manner. In addition to the classic architectural design processes for buildings and the urban development connections with elements of design, construction and economic efficiency, building science and social interaction, the factors of building physics, technical building equipment and life cycle assessment are understood as an integral part of a cybernetic design process.

This bachelor’s program is studied full-time in 7 semesters (3,5 years), the language of instruction is german. Internship or practical training in duration of 6 weeks is required for studies. 5th semester is a practical semester, where student applies for a position for an internship in a company in relevant fields. it is possible to study this program as a dual program (in combination with practical phases in real work environment).
