The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (University für Bodenkultur /BOKU), founded in 1872, is an education and research centre for renewable resources in Vienna, Austria.

About the program

The Master in Green Building Engineering at BOKU applies an interdisciplinary approach towards green buildings, addressing aspects such as used materials, energy concepts, building technology and life cycle perspectives.

The master’s curriculum includes compulsory modules with a total of 54 ECTS credits, the master thesis with 30 ECTS and elective modules with a total 24 ECTS credits. Furthermore, 12 ECTS credits are freely selectable, with the possibility of attending module courses at BOKU or at other universities, adding up to 120 ECTS.
