About the program

Sustainable management of the urban environment has become one of the major challenges, which calls for control of the environmental impacts of urbanisation like growing traffic, increasing waste emissions, deteriorating air and water quality, and growth in energy and resource consumption.

The Master Program Urban Environmental Management comprises 120 ECTS credits and runs for two academic years. The first year consists of coursework (60 ECTS), the second year consists of the academic internship (24 ECTS) and thesis (36 ECTS) as the core components of the master’s degree curriculum. Securing an internship is student’s responsiblity, however assistance is offered in the form of internship coordinator consultancy. Program is taught completely in English and the student is awarded an MSc degree upon completing the studies.
