Transition by Design (T/D), an Oxford-based architecture practice and workers’ co-operative, is seeking a Part 1 Architectural Assistant.
(T/D) offers varied expertise from community-led housing to Passivhaus design, urban design and participatory design. Their work is motivated by the belief that collaboration combined with good design can solve complex problems and improve the world we live in. As an interdisciplinary co-operative thy have access to a range of skillsets that can unlock solutions to complex problems.
Candidates should have RIBA Part 1 or equivalent, proficiency in design software, and strong creative and organisational skills. Experience in low energy design and community engagement is desirable. The position requires working in the Oxford studio at least two days per week and participating in regular site meetings.
