For 20 years, they have been a key player in public innovation, collaborating with global partners like UN organizations, the European Commission, and Bloomberg Philanthropies. Demos Helsinki operates independently, relying on project funding.
Open Positions:
Lead for City Transformations
Experience: At least 8 years in public city governance and leading international projects.
Skills: Team leadership, project management, strong interpersonal and analytical abilities, and excellent English.
Preferred: Broad experience, technical and social change leadership, and knowledge of European cities.
Expert for City Transformations
Experience: 2-4 years in project management, design management, or consulting.
Skills: Fast learner, strong communication, and documentation skills, and excellent English.
Preferred: Experience in city administration, international work, and co-creative events.
Practicalities:
Location: Based in Helsinki or remote, with some travel.
Start Date and Duration: As soon as possible; positions can be fixed-term or permanent.
Salary:
Lead: €4160–€5410 gross monthly.
Expert: €3020–€3640 gross monthly.
Contractors outside Finland receive an additional 40% overhead.
