As a project researcher for the Horizon Europe project ReHousIn, you will join Prof. Yuri Kazepov’s team to investigate how various crises contribute to housing inequalities across different European countries and to explore the impacts of the European Union’s green and digital transitions. In this role, you will collaborate with a multilingual research team composed of postdocs, doctoral candidates, and administrative staff from several EU countries.
Your responsibilities will include active participation in research and administrative tasks. You will be involved in research projects and scientific studies primarily related to the ReHousIn project, assisting in data generation and visualization. Additionally, you will conduct a multi-level policy analysis of nine European countries using mixed-methods research design and manage various administrative duties.
To be considered for this position, you should have completed a Master’s degree or Diploma in sociology, geography, political sciences, spatial planning, or other social sciences. You should possess basic experience in academic writing and research methods, both quantitative and qualitative. An interest in urban sociology, political ecology, and housing studies is essential. Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English (C1 level) is required, along with strong IT user skills. Being a team player with high social skills is crucial for this role.
