We are offering an internship position from 15 November to 31 December 2024.
Interns will work closely with the Community Development Department on several projects, with progress
dependent on community engagement, partnerships, and funding.
Key areas include:
Community Understanding
Waste Management
Capacity Development and Awareness
Environmental and Health Initiatives
Skills/Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, Geography,
Environmental Studies, or a related field in Germany.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess urban data, land use patterns, and spatial relationships.
Experience conducting research on international urban issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Proficiency in English is an asset, Arabic is an advance)
Ability to present complex ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.
The flights and accommodation will be funded by the project.
