The Centre for Social Studies (CES) at the University of Coimbra is seeking candidates for a Research Studentship as a Communication and Dissemination Manager within the project “IN SITU: Place-based Innovation of Cultural and Creative Industries in Non-urban Areas.” Funded by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe 2021-2027 programme, the project is led by Principal Investigator Nancy Duxbury.
The IN SITU project explores the innovation potential of cultural and creative industries (CCIs) in non-urban areas across six European regions. It combines research with practical actions to enhance the capabilities and influence of CCIs in these regions. The project also aims to inform policy and planning frameworks that support the sector.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing project communication, including updating the website, handling social media, organizing newsletters, press releases, and events, and creating digital and print materials. They will also assist with networking, report preparation, and strategy development. The fellowship starts in October 2024 and lasts 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Applications must be submitted by October 2, 2024, including a letter of motivation, CV, degree certificates, and examples of previous writing.
