Open Call for International Researchers:
We are excited to announce an open call to join Space Caviar as part of the research platform: Non-Extractive Architecture(s) developed in close collaboration with the Practice Lab at re:arc institute.
The 3-month online research position will begin in July 2024 – September 2024 and build upon the platform Non-Extractive Architecture(s) – an ongoing project aimed at collectively rethinking the balance between the built and natural landscapes, the role of technology and politics in future material economies, and the responsibility of the architect as an agent of transformation.
In order to widen the geographic focus of the directory, positions are open to site-specific researchers based in Asia, Africa, Australia or South America. We welcome international applications from individuals within and outside the field of architecture to create an open platform through which the current role of architecture can be debated, and new paths can be defined to leverage its potential as a positive force in shaping the future of the landscape.
The research position is part-time and remote, and will include periodic group meetings with the Space Caviar and Practice Lab team – for more information email : info@spacecaviar.net
