The University of A Coruña is offering temporary, full-time Master-level research positions under the SEALabHaus project, co-funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme 2021-2027 (European Regional Development Fund). The project focuses on maritime-industrial heritage, cultural landscapes, and blue tourism, with an emphasis on sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetics. Led by Professors Oscar Fuertes Dopico and Enrique Manuel Blanco Lorenzo, the project spans until December 2026 and aims to promote coastal ecosystems and maritime heritage while fostering innovation through a transnational laboratory following the principles of the New European Bauhaus.
Key tasks for the research position include gathering data, contributing to strategic plans for maritime culture and blue tourism, conducting academic research, and participating in the creation of infographics, digital maps, and training programs. Candidates are expected to hold a Master’s degree in architecture or sociology, with experience in maritime heritage and participatory projects being highly valued.
Evaluation criteria include academic performance, research experience, publications, language proficiency, and a personal interview for top candidates. Applications should be submitted via the University’s online platform by October 11, 2024, and results will be published on the UDC official bulletin board.
