The Institute of Environmental Planning at LUH is looking for a PhD Candidate to join the EU Horizon Europe SpongeWorks project, focusing on nature-based solutions for climate resilience. The successful candidate will develop and evaluate geodesign approaches for landscape-scale sponge strategies in three European river basins. Responsibilities include authoring research papers and collaborating internationally. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in landscape planning or related fields, with experience in spatial modeling and GIS.
