About the program
The Master of Architecture for Sustainability (MASt) emphasizes on sustainability’s environmental, economic, and social dimensions and studies design solutions ranging from micro-urban to architectural development, as well as the relationship between digital tools and built heritage. Interdisciplinary and optional courses are available during the second year offering the opportunity to explore open space design, high-performance buildings, and sustainable redesign of contemporary artifacts.
The university encourages international mobility through Erasmus agreements or double-degree programs. The student is also able to participate in specialized programs such as Interdisciplinary Challenges and the Initiatives of the Alta Scuola Politecnica, fostering teamwork and collaboration with industry partners. Practical experience can be gained through a curricular internship and/or post-graduate internship in Italy or abroad, facilitating future career opportunities.
The MASt program equates to 120 ECTS and is offered in both Italian and/or English.
