About the institution

The MAS UPM/ETH in Collective Housing takes place in Madrid at the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura. The program is supported by the ETH Zurich.

About the program

The program focuses on environmental science and emergency housing. It is structured in one-​week workshops, where participants will develop their design skills and key areas and where they will complete their theoretical knowledge. In addition to workshops, theoretical knowledge is widened in specialty seminars. All of the components are mandatory in order to receive the diploma. In addition to the 7 workshops and 9 specialties, there are also planned trips and guided tours, where buildings and housing-​​related institutions and universities will be visited. Furthermore, the program offers a unique working space and the necessary infrastructure.

The program starts in March and the workshops end in October, while the Master work is to be submitted in December. Language of instruction is English and students are awarded 60 ECTS upon completing the program.
