New Practice is seeking an Architectural Designer and Engagement Coordinator (RIBA Part I Architectural Assistant or equivalent) to join their Glasgow team for a six-month fixed-term contract (February–July 2025), with potential for extension. This role is ideal for a candidate on their RIBA Part I year out with a passion for community engagement.
The position involves supporting architecture, community engagement, and urbanism projects, focusing on inclusive and accessible design. Responsibilities include assisting in design development, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement while collaborating with clients, communities, and the design team.
New Practice is a socially-driven, RIBA/RIAS-chartered firm, part of Civic since 2024, working on projects across the UK that embed social value and prioritize community-led development. Flexible hybrid working is offered, with a minimum of three office days per week for mentorship.
