The Urban Sciences Lab (USL) at IAAC is seeking a Junior Research Assistant to join their interdisciplinary research team. Ideal candidates are recent graduates in architecture, urban design, or urbanism, with a strong interest in urban studies and a desire to contribute to impactful research and consultancy projects, particularly in Latin America.
As a part of USL, the Junior Research Assistant will work on urban and policy design projects, including creating visualizations, conceptual diagrams, and 3D renderings, and assist in preparing project documentation and grant applications. They will collaborate on projects that address design, technology, and sustainability in rapidly evolving urban environments.
The role requires strong creative and technical skills, proficiency in English and Spanish, and familiarity with Rhino 3D, QGIS, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Python knowledge is a plus. The full-time position, based at the IAAC Campus in Barcelona, offers a salary of 22,000€ – 24,000€ per year.
