The Department of Architecture and Technology is offering a full-time, two-year fixed-term position as a research assistant in architectural design for the master’s program in Sustainable Architecture (MSc in Sustainable Architecture). The role focuses on enhancing the program’s teaching, particularly in design courses, and involves supervising students, promoting the program, and managing social media. The position allows for professional development, including the potential to prepare for PhD studies.

Duties include:

Planning and managing teaching activities.
Teaching design, theory, and digital tools (e.g., climate analysis, BIM).
Supervising students.
Promoting the program and organizing events.
Participating in research and development projects.

Requirements:

A master’s degree in architecture or sustainable architecture.
Relevant work or teaching experience.
Fluency in English; knowledge of a Scandinavian language is advantageous.

Preferred skills:

Interest in teaching and student supervision.
Proficiency in architectural design software and energy/environmental assessment tools.
Experience in sustainable architecture and digital tools.
Experience in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings.

Personal qualities:

Initiative and ability to work independently.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
