Communications and Fundraising Lead

BYCS is hiring a Communications and Fundraising Lead to shape the organization’s voice and ensure sustainable funding. This senior leadership position combines strategic communication and fundraising responsibilities, working closely with the CEO and the communications and project teams. The role involves developing and leading communications strategies, crafting compelling stories and campaigns, managing media outreach, and overseeing donor relations and fundraising efforts. Ideal candidates bring over 5 years of experience in communications or fundraising, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and a passion for sustainability and citizen-led urban transformation. The role is based in Amsterdam with hybrid working possibilities, 32 hours per week, and a salary of €3,000–€4,000 per month.
