Down to Earth, a social enterprise based in South Wales, is seeking a Group Facilitator to join their team. The role involves leading outdoor programmes for diverse groups, particularly those from disadvantaged or vulnerable backgrounds. The Group Facilitator will be responsible for preparing and delivering activities, ensuring high health and safety standards, and supporting the wider programme goals through participant recruitment and project administration.
Ideal candidates should have at least two years of experience working with groups in outdoor settings and hold relevant qualifications, such as Forest School Leader or sustainable construction certifications. The role also requires strong communication skills, a flexible attitude, and the ability to work outdoors year-round. Experience with traditional building methods or sustainable construction is desirable, and Welsh language skills are a plus.
The position offers a salary of £25,500 to £28,000 per year, depending on experience, and includes benefits such as 25 days of annual leave, a pension plan, and training opportunities. Applicants should have a full driving license and access to a personal vehicle, as the role involves travel across South Wales.
