BC Materials is seeking a Quality Control – Material Engineer to join their team and support the expansion of their sustainable building material production as well as the development of various bespoke project-based materials.
Tasks for the future Quality Control – Material Engineer:
- Quality control of resources and products
- Lab specimen preparation
- Lab testing follow-up
- 1:1 prototyping samples
- Report writing
- Research on lab tools and norms for earth construction
- LCA analysis
- ATG follow-up for masonry
- Bespoke material developments
The role involves hands-on work and occasional travel abroad.
Profile examples:
- Environmental assessor
- Quality controller
- Civil/industrial or geotechnical engineer
Experience:
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge in materials research and quality control
