LOLA Landscape Architects is a leading landscape architecture practice with offices in Rotterdam and Shenzhen. We love landscape architecture in all its facets. For example, we are currently working on a pedestrian-friendly neighbourhood in Utrecht and a campus landscape such as the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence in Heilbronn, Germany. We are rethinking the food production of the future with a plant-based agriculture project in Luxembourg. We have a vacancy for a Junior Landscape Architect / Designer to join our team in Rotterdam.
As a Landscape Architect / Designer you will work on the various planning phases for the realisation of landscape designs and outdoor spaces. As a member of the international LOLA team, you will work on projects in the Netherlands and abroad. With your design vision, innovative solutions and inquisitive mind, you know how to create feasible projects and take them to the next level.
Who are we looking for?
- 1-3 years of relevant office experience.
- A degree in landscape architecture or urban design
- You are curious, a conceptual thinker and show skill and talent in your portfolio.
- Experience with landscape detailing and planting is appreciated.
- Good graphic presentation and design skills
- Knowledge and experience of CAD, Adobe and Rhino drafting software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- The working languages at LOLA are English and Dutch. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Located in or near Rotterdam and/or willing to relocate.
