About the institution

Technische Hochschule Wildau (TH Wildau), or Technical University of Applied Sciences is the largest university of applied sciences in the state of Brandenburg, located in the city of Wildau, southern of Berlin. TH Wildau was founded in 1991 and focuses on the research in the fields of applied biosciences, information technology, optical technologies, production and materials, transport and logistics as well as management and law.

About the program

Radverkehr in intermodalen Verkehrsnetzen master’s is focused on the specific aspects of cycling planning, with intermodal linking of cycling with public transport in forefront. The aim of the course is to acquire specialist skills, each with a focus on cycling, such as valid legal regulations, design guidelines for traffic routes, possible uses and limitations of various drive technologies, performance characteristics of transport and handling technologies, construction and testing of database structures.

The course is worth 90 ECTS and takes 3 semesters to complete. Admission to this program is not restricted, meaning there’s no limited number of places. Prospective students with only 180 ECTS can acquire the additional 30 credit points in a certificate course in the winter semester at TH Wildau. Students then start the three-semester Master’s program in the following summer semester.
