The role of Architectural Project Coordinator involves overseeing various aspects of the project to ensure its success. This includes managing timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting administrative tasks. The coordinator will work closely with MAIA Directors and Leads to keep the project on track and uphold its vision as a Black-owned Art Hotel. The position requires strong project management skills, architectural expertise, and excellent communication abilities. Based in Birmingham or within commuting distance, the coordinator will play a vital role in bringing ABUELOS to fruition.

Candidates should hold a degree or equivalent in an architectural or construction-related field, possess at least five years of experience in built environment roles, and demonstrate proficiency in project management and community engagement. They should also be familiar with technical documents and UK building regulations.

Key responsibilities include managing timelines, preparing documentation, monitoring progress, coordinating with partners and contractors, and assisting with program development. The coordinator will collaborate with the MAIA team, participate in organizational meetings and activities, and contribute to the project’s overall success.
