The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbusā€“Senftenberg (German: Brandenburgische Technische UniversitƤt, BTU) was founded in 1991 and is a technical university in Brandenburg, Germany with campuses in Cottbus and Senftenberg and with more than 7,000 students, of which 2,350 are of foreign origin from more than 100 nations.

About the program

The Master’s program in Climate-Friendly Construction and Operation provides knowledge about constructing climate-friendly and resource-efficient buildings and urban structures, as well as efficient facility operation. The curriculum covers aspects of building design, materials used in construction, and technical building equipment, with a particular emphasis on the utilization of renewable energies. The uniqueness of the program lies in its interdisciplinary approach, which is reflected both in the teaching methods and the composition of the student body.

The program spans four semesters, totaling 120 ECTS credits. Upon successful completion, the student will earn a Master of Science degree.
