Politecnico di Milano (established 1863) is the largest University of technology in Italy and takes part in several research, sites and training projects collaborating with the most qualified European universities. About the program
The program “Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design” aims at providing a multidisciplinary background for architects, with a special focus on environmental sustainability and landscape design. The concept of sustainability is associated with a high quality transformation of landscape, from the macro-scale of urban planning, to the micro-scale of technical details, how the varied scales connect and interrelate with each other. The international programme involves also workshops, study trips and summer schools.
The Program is taught in English and its focus is on sustainable architecture and urban and environmental design. Topics such as sociology of the environment, landscape regeneration and public space are included, various elective courses are offered. This full-time masters program takes 2 years (4 semesters) to complete and the student is awarded 120 ECTS upon completion of the studies.
