About the program
The Transformative Urban Studies (TRUST) program is part of the “Urbanisme et aménagement” diploma and aims to prepare Master students for new professional opportunities in the face of global challenges that transform cities and their surroundings. The program combines urban studies’ theoretical and methodological background with strategic urban planning thinking. It analyzes and supports actions taken by public actors, NGOs, and citizens that promote social, spatial, and environmental justice. Through a transformative approach and immersive experiences, students learn to identify, comprehend, and support processes of urban, economic, political, ecological, and social change.
TRUST consists of a two-year bilingual master’s program of 120 ECTS, with the option to apply directly to the second year and the possibility of dual degrees and internships abroad. An internship of at least 3 to 5 months is mandatory in the 2nd year of the Master’s degree for initial training. There are also scholarship opportunities available to qualified international students.
