The Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin / Technische Universität Berlin) is a public research university located in Berlin, Germany. With more than 30.000 students it is one of the three big universities in Berlin. TU Berlin has one of the highest proportions of international students in Germany, almost 27% in 2019.
About the program
The program in urban management aims to equip students with the specialist knowledge required to practically address the problems involved in the management and design of current and future spatial transformation processes. Teaching is based upon examples drawn from real situations in a global context and places particular emphasis on combining various fields of action which are often treated in isolation. Furthermore, students will learn organizational, administrative, legal, and fiscal issues in areas such as urban planning and renewal, housing development, environmental sciences, the planning of social infrastructures, and transport management.
The program spans three semesters, totaling 90 ECTS credits. Upon successful completion, the student will earn a Master of Science degree.
