Martin Schmitt Architektur specializes in timber construction and building in existing buildings. We believe in the coexistence of function, sustainability and aesthetics. Are you interested in competition successes, sustainable architecture and more diverse cities? Then join us at the Berlin creative center Aufbau Haus on Moritzplatz. We are looking for an architect with strong design skills to work on competitions and projects in the first service phases.
What your tasks will be:
– Processing of competitions
– design planning
– Feasibility studies
What we want from you:
– A successfully completed degree in architecture
– A passion for design: from urban planning to façade details
– High conceptual and design competence as well as very good presentation skills
– Sensitivity in the selection and composition of materials, colors, textures
– Secure workflow and excellent CAD and image editing skills (ArchiCAD, SketchUp or Rhino + Vray, Photoshop etc.)
– Interest in sustainability topics
– Fluent German and/or English
