The research team is currently seeking a doctoral candidate to make valuable contributions to their Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) funded initiative, titled “The Responsible City: Swiss Responses to Housing in Socio-ecological Crises.” The selected candidate will be stationed at the Social Geography and Urban Studies research group. This collaborative project spans 48 months and involves researchers from UZH, EPFL, UniNE, and ETH, commencing in May 2024.

The project’s central focus is on responsibility, aiming to comprehend how urban actors navigate and promote conflicting moral assertions within socio-ecological controversies related to housing and residential development in Zurich and Geneva.
