The Public Map Platform, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, seeks community mappers for an inclusive planning consultation project focusing on Isle of Anglesey/Ynys Môn. Mappers will collect environmental, social, and cultural data in schools and venues, with training provided. Roles are available from part-time to full-time until March 31, 2025. Fluency in Welsh, flexibility, and experience working with classrooms are preferred. Daily tasks include delivering mapping lessons, using mapping software, and supporting community engagement. This opportunity offers an exciting role within the University of Cambridge’s Department of Architecture.
The first round deadline for the Community Mapper posts is the 10th of April. Interviews will be held on the 19th of April.
